We are beyond excited to announce our first wave of performers for the sixth Austin Sketch Fest, playing May 18-24 at ColdTowne Theater and Spider House Ballroom.
Good Neighbor, that charming powerhouse troupe of SNL performers, writers and directors, will perform TWO headlining shows during the fest. We again have a super strong line-up of out of town talent including Girls With Brown Hair (NYC), Don’t We Boys (Michigan/North Carolina), Bullshit Women (NYC), OSFUG (NYC), Kingmaker (NYC), 100% Stuff (LA), and Strangled Youth (Chicago).
We’ll of course have performances from the best comedy acts in Austin, like Your Terrific Neighbors, Vanessa Gonzalez, STAG Comedy, Bad Example, The Hustle Show, Tastemakers, Wink Planet, Unrepresented, Jonestroch, Rachel & Dave, Megan Simon, 2girls1pup, as well as ColdTowne Theater’s new mainstage show Austin Translation. This year’s Festival also features a special reunion show from Midnight Society Presents, whose members will be reuniting from LA, NYC and Austin.
Austin’s premier movie mockers Master Pancake Theater will be back, as will The Show of One Person Shows. The popular comedy show & party So Juiced will close out our Friday night line-up.
For the very first time Austin Sketch Fest will host a live album taping. The hilarious Bryan Gutmann will be recording his full length stand-up comedy album for Sure Thing Records on our closing night, with opening act Eric Krug.
Earlybird All-Fest passes are now only $40 for a very limited time. All-Festival passes are good for entry into one of the two Good Neighbor shows and all other Festival shows.
The rest of the line-up and a full schedule will be posted in the coming weeks, so check back in yo.
