Two Kids in a Trench Coat / Tiny Muscles

Just Some Girls Having Fun / Eggs / Aglet Sketch

My Post (1).jpg

Eggs: Eggs is chaos sketch. It was formed originally to be a sketch show critical of the us as a country, and became what we feel when we think of the the state of politics. You'll be uncomfortable in this show, just like we all are in this country.

Aglet: Aglet Sketch Comedy was founded in September 2017 in Austin and we had our first show in November. Our sketches mainly take a dark, absurd, and honest look at relationships of all types. We enjoy taking risks and forcing audience members to think about difficult topics such as: human footrests, the sympathy card industry, public divorce, and bear hands. When all else fails, we hope to help others laugh at tragedy.

Snd Nudes Plz: Just Some Girls Having Fun ventures into the world of sketch to tackle the joys, confusion, and general madness that is modern dating.

Menenists

Meninists is a half hour sketch comedy show starring Chad (Katie Stone) and Tony (Erica Lies).  Menenists not only effectively satirizes the alt-right and the Mens Rights Movements, it clarifies many of the muddy and absurd aspects of these far-right youth-led movements in a way that is charming if not at times effective in putting the audience rightfully off-balance.

These self-identified Alt Right Men’s Rights Activists and sneaker enthusiasts host a weekly cable access show live from Chad’s mom’s basement. For the first time ever, they have enough fans to host a live taping. Swallow the red pill, awake from your PC slumber, and journey with them to learn whether or not they’re Nazis, how they feel about pizza, and their very straight love for leader Richard Spencer. Dare enter their world, normies! In Pepe They Trust.

Creative Team:

Menenists is written, performed and produced by:

Erica Lies (Tony) is a classically trained actor with a decade of improv and sketch comedy experience. Her film credits include 29 Light Years, It’s Your Turn, Server Life, and web series Freelancers. As a writer, she is a three-time Second Rounder at the Austin Film Festival with TV pilots she co-wrote with Valerie Nies, and her work has run in McSweeney’s, National Lampoon, Splitsider Humor Section, and the Huffington Post. Erica holds a BFA from West Virginia University and an MA from The University of Texas at Austin, both in theater. She teaches sketch at ColdTowne Theater.

Katie Stone (Chad) is an improviser and stand-up comedian best known for co-founding sex advice and stand-up show Naughty Bits. Katie performs weekly with The Megaphone Show at The New Movement, and is currently performing with her sketch troupe Martini Ranch in This is [Not] the Gayest Show You’ll Ever See at Coldtowne Theater. She has been featured at Austin Sketch, Hell Yes, Out of Bounds, Come and Take It, Orlando Indie and Blue Whale Comedy Festivals.

Directed by Chris McKeever

A graduate of the Upright Citizens Brigade in New York City, Chris McKeever has over a decade of experience in performing, writing and directing comedy. Currently, he is a weekly cast member of Iden B Payne nominated "F*ck This Week" Mondays at The New Movement. Chris was a writer and performer in December's sold-out run of Elvis's Rockin' Nativity, a sketch comedy revue at Coldtowne Theater.

HOUSE OF 100 SKETCHES (ATX) / SINGING IN THE PAIN (NYC) / WINK PLANET (ATX)

HOUSE OF 100 SKETCHES (ATX)

From encouraging women to leave Earth for Mars (with less-than-desirable incentives disguised as positives), to the stressors of working in the accounting department of Rob Zombie's production company, to the seemingly sweet Wisconsin couple who fall in love with their mutual love for disturbing behavior, House of 1000 Sketches will take you on a roller coaster of emotions, giving you a chance to examine your own life and see how disgustingly similar you are to the twisted mind of Rob Zombie. Also, there WILL be blood. Will it be real blood? The only way to find out is to come see House of 1000 Sketches!

SINGING IN THE PAIN (NYC)

Finally, a sketch team is brave enough to combine the glitz and glam of professional wrestling with the ruthless aggression of Broadway musicals. Make-A-Wish kid, Amy, wants just one thing: to meet her favorite wrestler, the inimitable Dr. Fist. But will she get more than she bargained for? (Yes, she will.)

WINK PLANET (ATX)

If Wink Planet had their way all days would be weekend, every food would be great, and the whole audiences would never stop laughing. Wink Planet isn't afraid to dip their toes in every subject's pond, and boy do they dip them in there. Gather into the theater and all witness the harmless tornado of Wink Planet.
